PMC Case Studies
PMC uses leading edge eye tracking technology to help flooring retailer improve web site usability and understand how shoppers navigate, use and react to web sites. Key to this was PMC’s use of eye-tracking software to identify how people used and reacted to the sites.
The latest step in Carpetright’s development is creating a new e-commerce platform to drive revenue, attract new customers and reinforce the Carpetright and Sleepright brands. The project, which includes transactional web sites for both Carpetright and Sleepright started in January and will complete by the end of 2009.
Re/Play from HMV enables customers to exchange previously purchased consoles and games against the purchase of other games titles. HMV accepts pre-played titles and consoles for trade-in on PlayStation 2, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and Wii formats. Uniquely, trade-ins are also accepted against the purchase of other product categories sold within HMV, including CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray plus technology devices, such as iPods and games consoles and other related products.

Jollyes approached retail systems experts PMC, who worked with them to understand their day-to-day business processes and what Jollyes wanted to achieve. PMC prepared a scoping document that enabled Jollyes to clearly specify their needs.
