India-based offshore development subsidiary, PMC India (PMC-I), is working with the Akshar Trust, in Vadodara, India www.baroda.com/NGO/Akshar.html to help hearing impaired children.
Without the Akshar Trust, such children would never learn to communicate, orally or in writing, they would never receive an education or hope to get a job. Worse still, they are isolated from society and their families. The Akshar Trust not only helps children but also has a teacher training programme to develop the necessary specialised teaching skills.

PMC recently announced a £5,000 sponsorship package for a major Oxfordshire-based charity, Adoption UK to enable the charity to update its web site www.adoptionuk.org.
